The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are.
You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask.
There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level.
It’s got to happen inside first.
Yes, you want to save lives, but before that you’ve got to save one – your own. Yes you want to bring the joy of happiness to children in far-off places who’ve never heard of it, but first you’ve got to bring it to one who’s right here – you.
The things about large-scale revolutions is that they’re all made up of millions of tiny personal ones – each individual being having their own mind-blasting personal awakening.
