My dear,
People think we’ve lost our courageous ones.
People say that there are no more true wars to fight, no more wild animals to face, and no more dangerous mountains to climb.
They say we’ve lost our courage because we don’t roar anymore.
Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”
Our courageous ones still walk the Earth if you ask me.
The people I see fail over and over again trying to learn something new, and get back to it again the next day – I see courage in them. The people who put their hearts out to the world, get hurt, yet still do it all over again the next day – I see courage in them. And the people who dare create every single day in a world that destroys every single second – I see courage in them.
We have not lost our courageous ones. They were wrong.
Falsely yours,
Mary Anne Radmacher
