My dear,
I am human, and therefore I am natural and a part of all that is natural (nature). A belief in the supernatural would require me to believe that there is something out there that is greater than me and the nature that I’m a part of, which is something I cannot do. I desire proof.
I desire proof that something is superior to me before I believe it so. Skepticism is my starting point and in that sense I am faithless.
Faith in the supernatural begins as faith in the superiority of others.
The only people that should begin with the starting point of believing that someone or something out there is superior to them and untouchable should be the self-hateful and depressed. All others, the majority, should ask for verification.
