The first thing you must do is find work that has meaning.
If your work does not have meaning then, even by definition, it means nothing. But the most important thing about finding, and eventually doing, work that has meaning is because whether you like it or not you’re going to spend a lot of your time working. And if your work means something then the time you put into it won’t feel wasted. Quiet the opposite, your work will actually free you.
Hard work is only a prison sentence if it does not have meaning.
