Doesn’t lying take a toll on you? All that memorizing. What lie did you tell, what lie did you tell to cover that one up, who did you lie to, when did you lie to them, why did you lie to them, etc. etc. There’s so much you have to remember when you lie.

While telling the truth puts you in the exact opposite position.

If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.
