My dear,
A machine-gun is still a machine-gun even when a ‘good’ man is squeezing the trigger.
And if a good man dare squeeze the trigger it is our duty to question that man as to why he did so. And if his reasons be found inadequate it is our duty to no longer call that man good, and to do with him as we do with bad men.
The bad aren’t exempt from the law, and the good shouldn’t be either.
