My dear,
Yes, a wolf in sheep’s clothing is detestable. But what I can’t truly stand is a sheep, being a sheep. At least the wolf has a purpose for donning such attire. What of the sheep?
Has it seen the world and chosen to remain a sheep, or is it oblivious to the fact that living as a sheep means living a life directed by someone else, filled with self-deceit, and death? Being a wolf is far better than either of those, even if it’s one in sheep’s clothing.
Falsely yours,
Winston Churchill
