My dear,
Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart.
The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth.
Where else can you find a place where people cause each other avoidable, and frankly largely unnecessary, harm? Where else do you find a place where people can do good if they just think, but yet they refuse to think?
Where else can you find a place where people are running straight forward into oblivion with their eyes closed?
Falsely yours,
