My dear,
There are people, who having been told what to believe, have mind’s more closed than bank safes.
Then there are people, having been raised on imagination and the idea that dreams are real, who’s mind’s are so open that dragons could fly out.
I would rather have a mind opened by wonder than one closed by belief.
And for some reason we’ve given the closed-minded all the praise, and left the open-minded to starve with their own devises. Doesn’t this sadden you?
Wouldn’t you rather have a mind that dreams up dragons, and fairies, and things that go bump in the night than one that dreams up taxes, new housing procedures, and stock market schemes?
Falsely yours,
Gerry Spence
